New Braunfels Area Quilt Guild members actively use their leadership and quilting skills to support area community projects, charities, education, and other non-profit organizations in need.

We make and loan quilts to area school districts for use in classroom instruction.  Quilts, tote bags, and pillows are made and donated to agencies who provide emergency shelter for children and families.  Over the past ten years, the Guild has actively created a Memory Quilt in honor of loved ones served by Hope Hospice of New Braunfels.  This past year, the Guild donated  a quilt for 8 families whose home was built through Habitat for Humanity.  Also, the Guild joined with other quilters to provide quilts for our wounded service members receiving treatment at Brooke Army Medical Center.
