Hope Hospice Quilt Workshop In partnership with Hope Hospice, each year our Guild creates a memorial quilt. On April 29th, a workshop was held to work on the quilt. In memory of their loved one, families donate a piece of fabric (usually from an article of clothing of their family member) to be used in the memorial quilt. This year's quilt title is "Light of My Life", and each block is a Japanese lantern with the loved one's name in the center. Guild President Carol Sweeden, Bonnie Ferguson, and Kerry Nicholson are here working on some of the blocks at the workshop. |

There have been 104 submissions by family members this year, way too many for just one quilt. So, there will be two quilts! Helping make all those blocks are (left to right) Gloria Villalobos, Phyllis Jordan, Peggy Karakula, and Bonnie Ferguson. |
